Mother of Frankenstein

Combining the best of escape rooms, board games, and immersive theater, Mother of Frankenstein is a 10-15 hour cooperative gaming experience for between 1 and 6 players, ages 13 and up. MoF was designed to be as welcoming and fun for newbies as it is rewarding for experts, combining the narrative complexity of a good novel with the physicality and challenge of a puzzle-filled escape room. Throw in a couple of clue-strewn jigsaw puzzles, and our game truly has something for everyone!

Special Edition Novel - While you don't need to read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein to enjoy our game, it will add another layer of engagement to the experience. Read our special edition, with an introduction by designer Tommy Wallach and unique standalone puzzles from Rita Orlov of PostCurious.

Hint Cards - We offer hints on our website, but if you'd prefer a fully analog experience, we have beautiful physical hint cards available.

Refill Pack - If you'd like to be able to reset your game and pass it along (or resell it), you'll need a refill pack, which contains copies of every piece of the game you'll write on or otherwise render unusable over the course of your playthrough.
